Hi, I’m Alexis Louws, a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with over 9 years of experience providing professional dental hygiene care in Ontario.

As a child, I had multiple difficult dental experiences that made me aware of how important prevention is in maintaining oral health. Taking care of your teeth can help avoid the need for more complex treatments later, and this has shaped how I approach care today with empathy, patience, and a focus on making every visit as positive as possible.

I founded Sunny Smiles Dental Hygiene to make care more accessible and convenient for individuals and families across the Niagara Region. I understand that visiting a traditional dental office is not always easy. Busy schedules, mobility limitations, or dental anxiety can all make it difficult. My practice was created with this in mind, offering safe, professional care in two settings:

• Mobile visits where I bring dental hygiene services directly to your preferred location.

• My in home studio practice in Welland which provides a private, welcoming space for your care.

My goal with Sunny Smiles is twofold: to open doors for those who might otherwise struggle to receive care, and to promote long-term oral health for those who already see a hygienist regularly. I strive to be transparent and thorough, making sure you are fully informed about every aspect of your oral health and the care you are receiving, including billing.
